The year is 1800 . . .

You can make the game whatever you want to make it. It can be fun and easy, mysterious and full of intrigue, or a delicate mix of an assortment of "plots". I am not a big stickler on rules, preferring a looser setup than most, but I have found it makes it more enjoyable for those involved. From time to time, however, you may see a notice that a certain type of character is banned from being joined. If everyone is playing Dukes or sons and daughters of Dukes, then I will have to put a stop to it. The title of Duke was actually quite rare and you tended to see many more Viscounts and Barons than anything else.

Please keep in mind that this era is called the Regency Era because King George was slipping into madness and his son became the Prince Regent in his "absence". Because of this, the era was named the Regency Era. Other than that, have fun and enjoy yourselves!
